About Us

Mike and Heather McAfee were married on December 16, 1995. We have four kids. Caleb is 20, Karis is 18, Benjamin is 10 and Ty is 5. We served the Lord as missionaries in West Africa for 12 years. It was and is our desire to live out Jesus commands. Luke 9:23-26 is Jesus talking and he says, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it. What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels." In light of that, when the Lord called us, we followed and now He has called us back to the US. Mike is the pastor of Greenwood Baptist Church in Doyle, TN and Heather is a ministry assistant at the River Community Church in Cookeville, TN. As we serve so much closer to our place of origin now, we continually strive to love God with all that we are, love those around us and go with the good news of salvation in Christ alone to those near and far!

Revelations 7:9&10

"After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: 'Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.'"
