Our precious baby is here! Timothy Elijah McAfee, "Ty", was born on Aug. 17 and weighed 7lb 5oz and 19 3/4 inches long. He is happy and healthy and becoming a very important part of our family.
Fortunately we have many hands here to help hold little Ty. He's not fond of being alone anywhere, so it's a good thing he's one of many! ;)
Everyone else is doing really well, too. Everybody has found a ball team to play on for the fall. We are running here and there for practices and games, but for those that know the McAfees, they are never happier than when they are on some sort of ball field. Ty and Mom and going to have to get ready fast, because this family is always on the go!
My African sister is organizing a Baptist Women event to help single parent families and orphans get ready for back to school back in Abidjan. Please pray for them to have everything they need for this project. I've been so happy to be able to be a part of this project from far away, which is another reason it's good to have so many hands around here!
Of course time is short with a little one around. I'll try to keep you updated with pictures. We might even get Caleb in a few. ;)
